Last night, on The Bachelor’s two-hour-long episode, we said goodbye to the funniest woman in the house.
Sierah was sadly eliminated from the competition, despite having one-on-one time with Jimmy. But as she walked out of the mansion, I couldn’t help but think the most entertaining person on the show will no longer be around.
Throughout her time on the series, she openly admitted to having chlamydia and refreshingly spoke about wanting to fart when she was around Jimmy. She, in her own words, was “a hoot”.
POPSUGAR Australia had a chance to talk to Sierah and we found out everything there is to know about her, and whether she’ll be up for being the next Bachelorette.
POPSUGAR Australia: When you were eliminated, how did you feel about Jimmy at that point?
Sierah Swepstone: It definitely wasn’t a romantic connection yet, I think I definitely still wanted to give it a go because I’m not a quitter, so I was kind of hoping for a little bit more time. But in hindsight, I think, maybe I was just denying the fact that there wasn’t anything there. When I got eliminated, I was a little bit salty but there was no real love lost.
PS: You had some one-on-one time with Jimmy during last night’s episode, were you shocked when he sent you home?
SS: Yeah I was, I’m just so cocky and I think that I’ve got the gift of the gab and I’m so charming and everything like that. So, yeah I thought I charmed the pants off of him, I was pretty surprised that I got sent home. But I guess looking back on it now, the conversation wasn’t that good, it was just me telling him how great I was at poison ball.
PS: How would you describe your relationship with the girls in the mansion?
SS: I actually got along with everyone, I don’t think I had any enemies. I had a little bit of a spat with Tahnee in the second episode, but it was such a pathetic little fight, even she and I were kinda friends towards the end, so I had a really good relationship with everyone, and there were some really nice bunch of girls this season.
PS: If you were approached to be the next Bachelorette, would you do it?
SS: 100%, that would actually be the best season ever. Honestly, I would love that, but I don’t know if that will happen. I definitely have an acquired taste, unfortunately, but it would be good TV.
PS: On the show, it seemed you and Steph were close friends. Do you think she’s being portrayed fairly?
SS: I love that girl and I absolutely adore her and I will defend her till I’m blue in the face. I definitely do watch it and facepalm, and say “oh my God Steph, you d***head.” She’s a legend, she’s a really nice, genuine person, I think if you knew her, some of the things she comes out with, you’d say “Oh Steph”, like that’s just her. She’s definitely copping it, she’s dealing with it well though because it is was it is I guess. But yeah, it definitely sucks to be her.
PS: Do you have any regrets about your time on the show? Would you do anything differently?
SS: Yeah, definitely. I’ve said it a few times but I would have gotten a face full of botox because I didn’t realise how bad my resting bitch face was. Honestly, it’s just terrifying. And it’s funny looking back, especially before all the girls got to know me, people were actually quite scared of me and I didn’t realise how scary I was to people.
I’m just this big Amazonian woman with a resting bitch face, that could scare everybody. Also, I think maybe just taking a bit of pressure off myself. I didn’t realise quite how funny I was, and I felt I wasn’t bringing anything to the table, so I feel like perhaps I was too caught up with that, so I didn’t really relax and enjoy the experience and take it for what it was. But I think if I were to ever do anything like that again, it will be much more enjoyable because I would know what to expect.
PS: Who do you think will be the last woman standing?
SS: I’m genuinely hoping it’s Jay. because I was friends with Jay and she’s just such a nice person. She’s super down to earth, up for a laugh, is really nice, and just doesn’t have a bad bone in her body.
PS: Tell us, what’s up next for you?
SS: I haven’t even really thought about it. I’ve almost finished my degree. If there were more TV opportunities I would definitely do it because it was so much fun. I think I’m good on TV, I was an absolute hoot. I’m really hoping some opportunities like that will come about, but I’m just going to continue with my life as it is and hope some other stuff comes my way.
