Here's Where You Can Catch Your Fave Supernatural Cast Members Next
We still haven’t accepted that Supernatural is actually coming to a close after 15 seasons, but we’ll mop up our tears long enough to find out what the cast members are working on next. Thankfully, most of our faves have other roles lined up already, which is a huge relief because we’re not sure how long we could handle not watching them on our screens. There are just a few weeks left before the show ends for good – and before we say our final farewell to Sam and Dean Winchester. Luckily, we know Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will still enjoy their bromance even after the show goes off the air. As for the rest of the cast, though, keep reading to see what’s next.

Jensen Ackles
Jensen Ackles doesn’t currently have any projects firmly lined up. The actor, who played Dean Winchester on Supernatural, said at the Television Critics Panel late last year that he’d considered taking a vacation after Supernatural finishes but his wife, Danneel Ackles, told him he needs to get right back to work. So we’ll have to wait to see where he ends up.
Jared Padalecki
Jared Padalecki won’t be leaving the CW for his next role. Padalecki will be starring in and executive producing Walker, a reimagining of Walker, Texas Ranger, from the 1990s. He’ll play the role of Walker and will be joined onscreen by fellow Supernatural alum Mitch Pileggi, who will be playing his father.
Misha Collins
Misha Collins hasn’t announced any formal plans for what he’ll be doing when his role as Castiel in Supernatural ends, but he did just release a cookbook called The Adventurous Eaters Club: Mastering the Art of Family Mealtime that he’s been promoting.
Alexander Calvert
Alexander Calvert, who played Jack on Supernatural, seems to only be working on a short called Blackout for the time being, but will hopefully add new roles to his résumé before too long.
Mark Pellegrino
Mark Pellegrino portrayed Lucifer on Supernatural for years. Up next, he may be popping back up as Deputy Standall in the fourth season of 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. He’s also listed in the role of Grungy Man in the comedy film Strangers in a Strange Land, written and directed by his wife, Tracy, that’s currently in post-production.
Ruth Connell
Ruth Connell, who played the witch Rowena on and off on Supernatural, has also lent her voice to several Disney TV shows and video games, so she could possibly have more of that lined up.
Samantha Smith
Samantha Smith, who played Sam and Dean’s mom Mary on Supernatural, hasn’t shared any of her future plans quite yet, so we’ll have to wait to see what her next project is.
Rob Benedict
God himself, Rob Benedict, has a role in the upcoming film Violet, which stars Olivia Munn and Justin Theroux. It was scheduled to premiere at the 2020 South by Southwest Festival, but due to it being canceled because of the coronavirus, it’s unclear now when it will premiere.
Kim Rhodes
You can find Kim Rhodes, who portrayed Sheriff Jody Mills for several seasons of Supernatural, on her lifestyle and wellness podcast, The Wayward Podcast, which she warns has a lot of adult language.
Jim Beaver
Jim Beaver, who played Bobby Singer on Supernatural, has a few things coming up for him. He’s wrapped two films: Blindfire and Gunfight at Silver Creek, and he also has a role in Guillermo Del Toro’s huge next film Nightmare Alley.
