2021: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Break Up
After two years of dating, Mendes and Cabello announced their split in November. In a joint statement, they wrote, “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”
They continued: “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

2023: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Briefly Reunite Before Splitting Up Again
Mendes and Cabello appeared to rekindle their romance at Coachella in April 2023. The exes were spotted getting cozy at the music festival, and the following month, they were seen again during a series of outings around LA and NYC.
Still, it seems their romance was short-lived because by June 2023 Us Weekly reported that they called it quits once again. “Camila was the one who ultimately decided to end things,” a source told the outlet, adding that Mendes “is very upset” that they couldn’t make it work.
