From Hustlers to After to Sorry Angel, 2019 gifted us with plenty of steaming-hot movies. But 2020 marks a new decade, and it only seems fair that we should expect even more hot-and-heavy films to come our way. Unfortunately, the pandemic has all but delayed every blockbuster planned for a 2020 release, but there have still been a handful of releases that will make you hot under the collar. Then again, there’s still a chance a couple of the upcoming movies will go the way of Fatale, Deep Water, and No Time to Die by rescheduling for 2021. For now, let’s revel in the releases we did get.

Bad Boys For Life
In the third installment of the Bad Boys trilogy, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence star as Miami detectives who face off against the city’s drug cartel. Along the way, the duo also must confront new, personal road bumps such as career changes and midlife crises, only complicating their mission.
The Gentlemen
This Guy Ritchie comedic action film follows an American expat’s attempt to sell off his profitable marijuana empire in London, which leads to a web of plots, bribery, and blackmail. Starring an A-list cast including Matthew McConaughey, Michelle Dockery, Charlie Hunnam, and Hugh Grant, this film was certainly a mild box-office hit when it came out in January.
The Photograph
This romantic drama stars Insecure‘s Issa Rae as a woman who, after her famed photographer mother passes away, finds herself delving into her mom’s old things – and developing a steamy relationship with a sexy journalist. That journalist is played by hottie Lakeith Stanfield, and their chemistry is off-the-charts steamy.
Fantasy Island
In this adaptation of the popular ’70s TV show, the owner of a luxurious, remote island (Michel Peña) invites guests to live out their wildest fantasies. As you probably expect, chaos ensues. But in the meantime, there are some tantalizing scenes with Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, and Jimmy O. Yang.
Love Wedding Repeat
This Netflix rom-com has Sam Claflin balancing an angry ex-girlfriend, an uninvited guest, and the one who got away (Olivia Munn), all while trying to make his sister’s wedding day go smoothly. As alternate realities of the same day unfold, he also wants to find a happy ending of his own. It’s a bit of a wacky-sexy vibe but sexy nonetheless.
Endings, Beginnings
Daphne (Shailene Woodley) is recovering from a recent breakup when she meets not one but two guys she’s into (Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan). They’re polar opposites, making her choice that much harder. She continues to bounce between them, but it is just up to fate at some point.
Love, Guaranteed
Rachael Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans Jr. are a mismatched couple in Netflix’s cheesy rom-com Love, Guaranteed. You won’t see any real sex scenes, as this is more like a Hallmark movie than anything else, but the witty banter between the lawyer and her client is sexy enough.
After We Collided
This sequel to 2019’s After (which is based on Anna Todd’s bestselling series of the same name) continues the tumultuous love story of Tessa Young and Hardin Scott, which becomes even more complicated when Tessa’s new coworker is thrown into the mix. Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin reprise their roles, with Dylan Sprouse joining the cast as Trevor Matthews.

Happiest Season
Planning to propose at a family gathering may seem like a good idea, but Kristen Stewart‘s character doesn’t know her girlfriend, played by Mackenzie Davis, hasn’t told her family about their relationship. This romantic comedy captures the feelings of acceptance and staying true to one’s self, all while trying to have a good holiday (for once).

Wonder Woman 1984
Because one sexy superhero is never enough, we’re also getting a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman, with the gorgeous Gal Gadot reprising her role as the immortal demigoddess, Amazon princess, and wicked-hot warrior (though she’ll be debuting a brand-new costume). Even more good news: Chris Pine is also returning to reprise his role as Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman’s pilot love interest. Let’s just cross our fingers the perpetually delayed movie comes out in December!
