So many of our favorite celebrity couples have come and gone over the years, but there’s one famous pairing who are still going strong: Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci. The longtime couple have been together for 16 years. Although they initially met on the set of 2005’s “Cheaper by the Dozen 2,” they didn’t begin dating until they both starred in 2007’s “American Pie Presents: Beta House.” Nine years later, Amell and Ricci officially tied the knot in 2016, and they expanded their family in 2019.
While neither Amell nor Ricci talk about their relationship much in interviews, they do give fans a peek into their personal lives by sharing photos of their biggest milestones as a couple on Instagram. The social media platform is also where Amell and Ricci update fans on their latest acting projects. You may know Amell from TV series like “The Tomorrow People,” “The Flash,” and “Upload.” Most recently, he also appeared in a few episodes of “The Witcher.” Meanwhile, Ricci is known for starring in “Chasing Life,” “Designated Survivor,” and “The Imperfects.”

Amell told Hollywood Life in 2015 that he met Ricci on the set of 2005’s “Cheaper by the Dozen 2,” and their first conversation was at a bar. Apparently, their first interaction was so small, however, that Amell didn’t remember it until Ricci told him about it later on.

After wrapping up “Cheaper by the Dozen 2,” Amell and Ricci went their separate ways and didn’t meet again until they both appeared in 2007’s “American Pie Presents: Beta House.” Amell played Nick Anderson in the film, while Ricci played Laura Johnson. Shortly after reuniting, the pair began dating and eventually fell in love.

Amell and Ricci were engaged for two years before they officially tied the knot on Oct. 15, 2016. The couple shared so many photos from their wedding day on Instagram, including one of the pair leaving the church as husband and wife. “Best day of my life,” Amell captioned the photo. “About damn time. Thank you guys for all of the congrats and warm wishes! I dig being an Amell. ❤️,” Ricci captioned her post.

January 2020: Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci Become US Citizens
According to People, the Canadian-born couple marked a huge milestone in January 2020 by becoming US citizens together. “3866 people from 116 different countries became American citizens today,” Amell wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “@italiaricci and I were two of them. Today was awesome.”
