Alejandra Silva Shares Rare Photo of Her and Richard Gere’s Kids For Her Birthday

Alejandra Silva is celebrating her 40th birthday by sharing her love for her family. On Feb. 17, the 40-year-old political activist posted an Instagram photo of herself at the beach with her two kids, whom she shares with husband Richard Gere. “Thank you all for the birthday wishes,” she wrote in the caption. “After almost 3 weeks of everyone being sick in our family, today finally I feel much better! Thank you for all the love ❤️ I give it all back to you!”

Silva and Gere got married in 2018, per Us Weekly. Their marriage drew some attention due to their age difference, as the “Pretty Woman” star was 72 and Silva was 38 at the time. Silva is an activist who runs the foundation Rais Fundacion, which strives to end homelessness in Spain. In addition to her two kids with Gere, Silva has a son named Albert from her previous marriage to Govind Friedland. Meanwhile, Gere was married twice before – first to Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995, and then to Carey Lowell from 2002 to 2016.
