Zack and Miri Make a Porno
In this Kevin Smith-directed comedy, two down-on-their-luck platonic roommates (played by Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks) come up with the perfect way to make fast cash: film a porno. Though the friends swear that having sex won’t change their dynamic, making a pornographic movie together is more complicated than they could have imagined.
Scary Movie 2
In this second installment in the Scary Movie film series, Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans all reprise their roles (despite having, you know, all been killed off in the original Scary Movie). The spoof parodies a variety of horror flicks, including The Haunting, The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, and Poltergeist, among several others, and it’s the perfect mix of silly and raunchy.
The Package
In this slapstick romp, five teens go on a spring break camping trip, but a booze-fueled night leads to an unfortunate incident with a Samurai sword and the severing of one of the guys’ . . . well, package. It’s ridiculous as it sounds in the best kind of way.
Just Friends
Starring Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart, this comedy revolves around a geeky-teen-turned-successful-record-executive who returns to his hometown over the holidays to tell his best friend that he’s still in love with her (but unfortunately, a goofy pop star who he once when on a date with, played by Anna Faris, also tags along). This comedy is both surprisingly sweet and laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Search Party
After Nardo confesses to his groomsmen that he has some reservations about his upcoming nuptials, his besties try to put a stop to the wedding, which causes the bride to take off on their Mexican honeymoon solo. Nardo chases after his fiancé, and when he encounters some trouble in Mexico, the same friends who stopped his wedding must attempt to track him down.
Seoul Searching
Set in 1986 Seoul, South Korea, this fun coming-of-age movie follows a group of Korean teens from around the world who are brought together by a government-sponsored summer program, which was designed to help them connect with their Korean heritage. Of course, the teens end up learning about way more than their heritage as they party, hook up, and fall in love with one another over the course of the summer.
Fun Mom Dinner
Starring Katie Aselton, Toni Collette, Bridget Everett, and Molly Shannon, this fun romp revolves around four moms with preschool-aged kids who decide they’re in desperate need of a mommies’ night out. However, what starts off as a polite dinner becomes something very different once alcohol, karaoke, and a cute bartender are added to the mix.
40 Days and 40 Nights
Josh Hartnett stars in this rom-com as a recently dumped bachelor who decides to take a vow of celibacy for the 40 days of Lent, never expecting that as soon as he swears off sex, the perfect woman will walk into his life. Who knew a movie about not having sex could be so . . . sexy?
Brahman Naman
Set in 1980s Bangalore, India, this English-language Indian comedy revolves around a trio of college-aged virgins who are eager to find women willing to sleep with them. When the group heads to Kolkata for a team quiz competition, they hope the trip will give them an opportunity to finally lose their virginities.
Get Him to the Greek
In this spinoff sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Russell Brand reprises his role as Aldous Snow, an unruly British rockstar whom a young music executive (played by Jonah Hill) must escort to the first stop on his comeback tour. Unfortunately, delivering Aldous to LA’s Greek Theatre isn’t as easy as Aaron hoped.
Opening Night
Topher Grace stars in this woefully underrated musical comedy as Nick, a failed Broadway-singer-turned-production-manager who’s tasked with saving his flailing show before opening night. We guarantee you’ve never seen a musical quite as raunchy as this one.
The Wrong Missy
Starring David Spade and Lauren Lapkus, this goofy comedy tells the story of a man who thinks he’s invited his dream girl to join him on a work retreat to Hawaii – but he accidentally texts a woman from a disastrous blind date instead. Lapkus totally nails the role of the titular Missy, and her performance alone makes this one worth watching.
Budapest
This French comedy is reminiscent of The Hangover, telling the story of two friends who decide to ditch their boring jobs to become bachelor party planners in Budapest, Hungary, much to the annoyance of their wives. It may not paint the most accurate portrait of Budapest, but it’s definitely packed with LOL-worthy moments.
A Haunted House
Similar to the Scary Movie flicks, this slapstick parody film pokes fun at the “found footage” horror genre, including movies like Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. In the movie, a couple (played by Essence Atkins and Scary Movie‘s Marlon Wayans) move into their dream house, only to discover that they’re not the only inhabitants. Cue the hilarious antics!
Dolemite Is My Name
This biographical comedy film stars Eddie Murphy as Rudy Ray Moore, an outrageous comedian who rose to prominence in the late 1960s and is best known for his character of Dolemite, a character he often played in his stand-up routines. Thanks to Murphy (as well as the star-packed cast of characters), this movie is wildly funny and delightfully naughty all at the same time.
