“P-Valley” finally makes its grand return for season two on June 3. Based on creator Katori Hall’s “Pussy Valley” play, the gritty TV adaptation – which stars Brandee Evans, Nicco Annan, Elarica Johnson, Shannon Thornton, J. Alphonse Nicholson, and Tyler Lepley – tells the story of those working at a local “little strip club that could,” called the Pynk. Set in the fictional town of Chucalissa, MS, the Southern sex work drama illustrates the triumphs and struggles of everyone living way down deep in the Mississippi Delta.
“P-Valley” rose to critical acclaim in summer 2020 when it first burst onto the TV scene. Since then, fans have been anxiously waiting for the series to deliver yet another juicy, drama-filled season. The cast has been equally excited to get back to the show, too, as they’ve all shared their own BTS snaps, reels, and TikToks ahead of the show’s return.
On June 2, they all gathered in LA for the season two premiere of the show, showing up in their finest fits for the red carpet. Despite how they may butt heads (and even come to blows) on the show, the cast of “P-Valley” is actually really close in real life: just check their Instagram pages.
