We Can't Get Over the Spot-On Casting in One Night in Miami – See the Photos

What really happened the night Cassius Clay, Jim Brown, Sam Cooke, and Malcolm X met up on Feb. 25, 1964? That’s exactly what One Night in Miami tries to unpack. The Regina King-directed film, which is based on the stage play by Kemp Powers of the same name, follows a fictionalized conversation between the four Black icons, and the casting is pretty spot on. From the stars’ undeniable talent to the incredible period costumes and makeup, the film is truly a work of art. It certainly feels like an early contender for Oscar nominations! Ahead of the film’s release on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 15, see more side-by-side images of the cast alongside their real-life counterparts.
