“The Flash”‘s premiere was a family affair for Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The actor brought daughters Filippa, 22, and Safina, 19, to celebrate the superhero film’s debut in Los Angeles on June 12, marking a rare appearance for the trio. They posed together on the red carpet wearing casual-chic outfits – Nikolaj layered a chartreuse top under a gray plaid suit, Safina paired a beige jacket with gray pants, and Filippa wore a black long-sleeved dress with brown cowboy boots. Other stars in attendance included Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, and Jessica Chastain.
Nikolaj shares Filippa and Safina with his wife, Nukâka Coster-Waldau, whom he married in 1998. Both Filippa and Safina are following in their father’s footsteps as actors, portraying sisters in the Danish teen drama “Salsa,” among other roles. Though Nikolaj tends to keep his family life pretty private, he’s made a few public appearances with his daughters through the years. In 2021, the actor supported Filippa as she walked the runway for L’Oréal during Paris Fashion Week, and he was spotted courtside with Safina at a Lakers game back in 2017. Most recently, he and Nukâka stepped out together for the Cannes Film Festival screening of Pixar’s “Elemental” in May.
Nikolaj has been booked and busy since bidding adieu to “Game of Thrones” in 2019. He starred in the 2019 crime-thriller movie “Domino” and the 2020 serial-killer film “The Silencing” and plays Jennifer Garner‘s missing husband in Apple TV+’s “The Last Thing He Told Me” miniseries, which aired its finale last month. Later this month, he’ll also portray a detective in the action film “God Is a Bullet” alongside Jamie Foxx, Maika Monroe, and January Jones.
