Culture III by Migos
Over the last two years, Migos‘s Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset have each released solo projects. Now, all three are reuniting in 2020 for Culture III. The album was planned for release in January 2019, but has been pushed back to this year.

Funeral by Lil Wayne
Just when you might have forgotten how to love, Lil Wayne is coming back with his 13th album, which was originally set for release in 2019. Expect to hear collaborations with Lil Baby and The Loopholes on Funeral.

Punk by Young Thug
With Punk, Young Thug follows up his debut album So Much Fun, which was released just in August 2019. Back in August, the rapper planned to release his new album in just two months. While Punk will be a couple months late, the idea behind it should more or less be the same. With Punk, he explained to The Fader that the album title, to him, meant “brave, not self-centered, conscious, very, very neglected, very misunderstood, very patient, very authentic.”

Entergalactic by Kid Cudi
Besides facing the music with Bill and Ted, Kid Cudi has been working on Entergalactic, a concept album in conjunction with his upcoming Netflix animated anthology series of the same name. The show will be penned and co-produced with none other than Kenya Barris, the powerhouse behind Black-ish.

The Fall Off by J. Cole
Using a faux political ad, J. Cole confirmed at the Day N Vegas Festival in November 2019 that his followup to KOD would be released some time in 2020. The final track of KOD is called “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’),” so expect to hear a followup to it!

Factory Baby by Noname
In November 2019, Noname tweeted, “I don’t really talk about my music much on here but I’m dropping an album 2020 if anybody’s interested.” Her debut mixtape Telefone and album Room 25 were critical darlings, so it’s no doubt that her 2020 project, Factory Baby, will be one as well. However, she’s also posted about possibly retiring after her new album, so we’ll have to wait to see what the future holds.
