Netflix Is Producing a Rom-Com Based on Antoni Porowski's Dating Life, and Hello, Yes, I'm Listening

Netflix is reportedly developing a romantic comedy created by Queer Eye‘s Antoni Porowski and Black-ish creative Kenya Barris, and hello, yep, we already need it in our lives immediately. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature is titled Girls & Boys, and is still in very early stages. To date, all we really know is that it will be loosely based on Porowski’s dating life as a sexually fluid man, and that he worked with Barry to develop the story.
Andrew Rhymer and Jeff Chan (the filmmakers behind Hulu’s rom-com Plus One) have been tapped to pen the screenplay for Girls & Boys, and so far those are all the details we have. Sadly, there’s no word yet on whether there’ll be a Jonathan Van Ness character as a playful faux love interest or a group of gorgeous friends who make ordinary people’s dreams come true – we can only hope.
