Maya Jama is claiming her crown as London’s queen of Halloween with her annual star-studded Halloween party. Hosted on Saturday, 30 Oct., Jama’s party was attended by Jourdan Dunn, Ella Balinska, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, Jade Thirlwall, and BBC Pressed podcast hosts Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa.
Jama went as a gilded Medusa to her Halloween ball, while close friends Balinska and Dhowre Elba dressed as Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B from the “WAP” music video. One of the best costumes of the night came from Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg, who dressed as the blonde pregnant woman emoji from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album cover; and we loved Jourdan Dunn’s “Baddie Krueger” costume inspired by one of Hayden Williams’s fashion illustrations. Although Nella Rose wasn’t in attendance, her BBC Pressed co-hosts Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa showed up in full glam. Patronne went as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Musa went as a golden fairy.
