Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy are separating after almost five years of marriage. On Wednesday, Us Weekly confirmed that the 33-year-old fashion designer has been trying to file for divorce from the 50-year-old French banker since April 17, but hasn’t been able to because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. She is allegedly seeking an emergency order to allow her to file the legal paperwork. Mary-Kate and Olivier have yet to publicly confirm the news themselves.
Mary-Kate and Olivier first got together in 2012 and they quietly tied the knot in November 2015. While the duo were pretty private when it came to their relationship, the last time we saw them together was in May 2019 at the International Global Champions Tour in Madrid.
