“MAFS” Star Davina Rankin Confirms Split from Husband Jaxon Manuel: ‘Relationships are Hard’

Former “MAFS” star Davina Rankin has confirmed that she and her hubby Jaxon Manuel have split after just over a year of marriage.

The season 5 bride took to her Instagram Stories to break the news to her followers, saying: “Relationships are hard. Given the recent speculation, I feel like I need to confirm that Jay and I have separated.”

“I will at some point discuss this further, but my current focus is learning to navigate my new normal while providing a seamless and loving transition into co-parenting our daughter.”

Rumours of a split began earlier this year when fans noticed that Davina hadn’t posted any photos with her husband on Instagram since August 2022. She also posted a cryptic statement in December about her growth and self-discovery.

“2022 has been the biggest year of spiritual and mental growth for me and for the first time in my life I can finally hear the whispers of my heart,” she captioned the post.

“I’m in touch with my institution and I’ve stopped people pleasing and I’m tackling my fear of judgement head on. This year I grew into something I could have never imagined… MYSELF.”

They’ve since unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The pair had known each other prior to her appearance on “MAFS”, but rekindled their romance after her season aired.

They’ve shared many milestones together, including welcoming their first child, Mila-Mae, in 2019 and tying the knot in April 2022. But it looks like things just didn’t work out for them in the end.

Davina was the talk of the town on her season of “MAFS” when she cheated on her “husband” Ryan Gallagher with fellow participant Dean Wells. She quickly became the “villain” of the show and received a lot of backlash from viewers.

She later appeared on “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” in 2022 where she opened up about her experience on “MAFS”. She told her campmates she “didn’t leave the house for three months” while the show aired on TV.
