Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of “Married at First Sight” put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
20 singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts, John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicks off on Monday, January 30, at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and promises to begin with the biggest shock ever to rock a wedding. We’re also teased with some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, both interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.
For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.
At the age of 41, Melissa is looking for what she thinks is her last shot at real love.
After a 10-year marriage and co-parenting her son, Melissa has no problem meeting men, but she craves a long-term relationship and believes that the clock may be ticking on finding the right person.
She’s upbeat, charismatic, cheeky, flirtatious and very comfortable with her sexuality, and she expects her man to keep up with her.
Melissa co-parents her son whilst living with her twin sister on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Life as a hairdresser is social and busy, but Melissa is not meeting the man of her dreams at school pickup.
The bride has a lot of love to give, and after kissing a lot of frogs she is now looking for Prince Charming – or better yet, Thor!
