Intimacy Week has made a triumphant return to “Married At First Sight” and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla is sure to have a few tasks up her sleeves for the couples to enjoy as they get to know each other better.
Throughout the week, the couples will participate in activities to open their minds to find connection and romance with their partner, with a lot of the action expected to happen in the bedroom.
So, What Can We Expect From MAFS 2023 Intimacy Week?
From steamy moments to watching couples connect on a deeper level, Intimacy Week will be different for every couple as we’ve seen in past seasons. It could also be a massive make-or-break moment for some as they discover their partners’ desires on a more personal level.
While some of the couples are already in a great place, most of them need a bit (actually no, a lot) of help. Issues are bubbling up for several couples. Jesse suspects Claire may have cheated on him with fellow groom Adam. Shannon told Caitlin that he’s still in love with his ex-fiancée. And two of the grooms have been accused of gaslighting and emotional abuse.
If this year’s Intimacy Week is anything like ones in the past, we can expect Alessandra to push the brides and grooms to a new level as she sets different tasks for them to complete. Whether it’s staring into each other’s eyes in silence for a minute, or simply just hugging it out. The expert may also introduce some toys into the bedroom for our more successful couples. Last year, some couples received a goodie box full of things to experiment with.
Intimacy Week is supposed to bring the couples closer together and whether it works will be seen towards the end of the week. One thing we know for sure is just how unpredictable “MAFS” is, so there’s no telling how it might go.
