MAFS 2023: Adam Hopes to Find a Like-Minded Partner
Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of “Married at First Sight” put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicks off on Monday, January 30, at 7.30pm on Channel 9, and promises to start with the biggest shock ever to rock a wedding. We’re also teased some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.
For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.
Cocky and confident, Adam is a modern-day entrepreneur who is always on the lookout for the next business opportunity. He was born in England with Jamaican West Indian heritage, but was adopted by Australian parents and raised in Queensland.
He was in a long-term relationship for almost 10 years throughout his twenties. They became engaged before he realised he was too young to settle down.
Now at 35, he’s done with dating apps and wants to find something more meaningful with someone who is ready to settle down. After fine-tuning his dating skills out in the world for many years, Adam says he now finds the apps fruitless in the search for new love because he says everyone “just sits behind a keyboard”.
He’s spent the past six years in London, but in hopes of finding love Down Under with someone who is as mature, honest and open as he is, Adam’s flown halfway across the world to return to Aus.
