Love Island Australia has been a whirlwind of emotions since the get-go. We’ve seen heartbreak and drama, but then we’ve also witnessed people come together in the hopes of finding lifelong love.
Tonight (Wednesday Nov. 24) the Grand Final for the reality dating show aired, bringing the season to an end. But just because things are over, doesn’t mean the couples’ journey stops here.
One couple was voted by Australia as the most compatible and was crowned the winner of the hit TV series. Not only did Tina and Mitch win over viewers, but they took home $50,000 in prize money to share amongst themselves.
In the last episode, each of the remaining couples declared their feelings for one another and also met each other’s loved ones, seeking their approval over whether they made the right choice.
The journey hasn’t been easy, and while only Tina and Mitch walked away with a cash prize, at the end of the day, the contestants took a shot at the show because they hoped to find the right person, and that’s exactly what they got.
Jess and Aaron, Tina and Mitch and Zoe and Chris not only made it to the final three, but each of them seemed to have found a person that’s right for them in the villa. Whether the love lasts outside is yet to be seen.
