Everything You Need to Know About Lizzo's New Album, “Special”

Summer is about to get a whole lot hotter once Lizzo’s new album is released. Set to come out in July, “Special” will be Lizzo’s fourth studio album, releasing three years after her previous album, “Cuz I Love You.” After teasing fans in March by saying this upcoming project was finally finished, she dropped the big release announcement alongside the first single, “About Damn Time,” in April. Now it’s just a matter of time until we have this whole collection of new music in our hands!

Lizzo celebrated the upcoming album with an appearance on “Saturday Night Live” on April 16, where she did double duty as host and musical guest and shared two songs from the album. With this new album on the horizon, this summer is sure to be a great one for Lizzo fans. Here’s everything we know so far about Lizzo’s forthcoming album, “Special.”

Are There Any Collabs on Lizzo's "Special" Album?

As of right now, we don’t know of any collabs on Lizzo’s “Special,” but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any! On her earlier albums, Lizzo had collabs with artists such as Missy Elliott, Gucci Mane, and more, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear other artists on a few tracks on “Special.”

What Is Lizzo's "Special" Tracklist?

There currently isn’t a tracklist for “Special.” However, according to iTunes, the album is set to have 12 songs. Currently, the second track on the album is “About Damn Time,” and the album will close with a “Very Special Message From Lizzo.”
