During a trip to Milwaukee on Monday, the Democratic vice presidential nominee kept things cool, casual, and comfy by sporting black low-top Chuck Taylor All Stars with a navy blazer, dark-wash skinny jeans, and a black top. The unisex kicks are an approachable choice, ringing up at just 50 bucks per pair, but they also show she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get sh*t done. Quite the apt pick for a day of meeting with business owners and union leaders, if we do say so ourselves.

The pick didn’t go unnoticed, either. Kamala offered a peek at her campaigning ‘fit on social media, captioning a video of her disembarking a plane with: “All laced up and ready to win.” As soon as the clip hit Twitter, supporters far and wide couldn’t help but dole out praise for her classic sneaker choice – with some even hoping for a Kamala Harris x Converse sneaker collaboration in the future.
