Jess Trend always had dreams to play in the AFLW, however, a ruptured ACL put her dreams on hold for two years.
Working as a PE teacher, the 28-year-old finally reached her dream in 2018 and is now a Freemantle Dockers recruit.
The competitive and bubbly sportsperson believes her patience and warm nature will enable her to build strong connections in the house, although she might be seen as a threat, due to her physical prowess and competitive spirit.
Jess is extremely close to her family, including her twin brother Ben and her nana — whom she wants to make proud — and has a girlfriend named Rhi Bausch, who she regularly posts about on Instagram.
Her strategy is to take things one day at a time, keep to her word and do what it takes to get to the end.
If she were to win, Jess would love to buy a house.
