Jack Whitehall and Girlfriend Roxy Horner are Expecting Their First Child

Jack Whitehall announced he is expecting his first child with his model girlfriend, Roxy Horner, in typically hilarious fashion. The actor and comedian posted two adorable black and white photos of him and Horner laughing and holding the scan photos on Instagram. He then captioned the photo, writing: “And I thought I wasn’t getting enough attention when the dog arrived…” Horner also posted the images alongside the caption: “The best news to share… “

The couple have been dating for over three years and share a dog called Coco. While Whitehall’s most recent stand-up comedy tour is called “Settle Down” as he discusses the trials and tribulations of moving into adulthood, Horner opened up to Hello magazine about how they had experienced pregnancy loss previously. “We had a miscarriage last year and so there was a part of me that was worried to open up too soon about this baby because I was so worried something would happen again and I didn’t want to have to kind of tell the world,” Horner, who has Type 1 diabetes, said. “I think because we did go through that miscarriage you realise how fragile the baby is, and just how common actually a miscarriage is, and that so many women go through it – I had no idea how common it actually was. It just makes this feel extra special and you’re more grateful that everything’s fine.”

The happy news is the latest in a celebrity baby boom. Fellow TV comedian Joel Dommett and his model wife, Hannah Cooper, announced they are also expecting their first child this year, while “Strictly”‘s Neil Jones and “Love Island”‘s Chyna Mills also revealed their pregnancy news. We can’t wait to see more of Whitehall’s family growing family.
