Here’s a Secret We’re Ready to Tell: Gossip Girl Is Returning for Season 2, and We Have the Deets

It’s been months since Gossip Girl aired its season finale, and as impatient fans, we really don’t want to wait any longer to find out what happens next.

Having premiered on BINGE, the first season was released mid-last year to mixed reactions.

Fans of the original didn’t know how to feel, but the younger Gen Z crowd just couldn’t get enough.

Millennials, who grew up scheming with Blair, Chuck, Nate, Serena and Dan, found it difficult to warm up to the new cast

And despite the reboot referencing the original from time to time, it still felt very different.

For one, Gossip Girl’s identity was revealed in the very first episode, unlike the OG, which used the secrecy surrounding GG as the entire premise of the show.

The reboot was also much more diverse than its predecessor — a refreshing change, considering the Gossip Girl of the noughties featured an all-white ensemble, despite being set in New York, one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

While the differences between the two versions are like night and day, there are plenty of similarities.

First off, the fashion. Till today, Gossip Girl is an iconic part of the pop culture zeitgeist, and it’s largely due to the character’s wardrobes. From Blair’s Parisian-inspired fits to Serena’s boho, laidback style, each person’s personality was perfectly reflected through the clothes they wore.

The reboot had some big shoes to fill, but thanks to stylist Eric Daman — the genius behind the original GG looks — the new series has successfully branded itself as fashion inspo.

The cast’s outfits are modern, chic and edgy, depending on the character and what they represent.

So, When and Where Can You Watch Season 2 of Gossip Girl?

Season Two of Gossip Girl will be exclusively available to stream on BINGE from December 1.

Oh, and before we forget, OG Gossip Girl fans are in for a treat because it seems cunning and conniving Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) will be making a comeback, and we all know what that means: Something major is about to go down.

In the meantime, stream Season One of the reboot and all six seasons of the original Gossip Girl on BINGE.
