Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell Dress As a Prince and Princess For Their Granddaughter’s Birthday
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell recently shared an adorable moment with their four-year-old granddaughter Rani Rose. Hawn posted photos of the trio on Instagram on Oct. 2, and all were wearing matching royal costumes, seemingly inspired by “Cinderella.” Hawn and her granddaughter both had on princess dresses, while Russell was a dashing prince. Hawn wrote in the caption, “Happy 4th birthday our precious Rani Rose? You are the real queen! I’ll take Lady in waiting everyday as long as the prince is always beside me! WE LOVE YOU!!! ????????.”
Rani is the child of Hawn’s daughter Kate Hudson and her partner Danny Fujikawa. Hudson also shared a birthday tribute to her daughter on Instagram, posting photos of her as a baby alongside photos from the party and writing, “Our dreamy girl is 4 years today! Happy Birthday to Rani Rose! Rani fills our hearts so full of love as she meets everyday with enthusiasm, beauty and humour. We partied hard today… the princess way ?? #HAPPYBIRTHDAY.”
Hudson also has 18-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson and 11-year-old son Bingham with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. Hudson and Fujikawa have been together since 2016 and got engaged in 2021.
Hawn and Russell have seven grandkids in total. Oliver Hudson has sons Bodhi, 12, and Wilder, 15, and daughter Rio, 9, while their son Wyatt and his wife Meredith Hagner welcomed their son Buddy in 2021.
The Russell-Hudson-Hawn crew are very close, and that’s bled over into their professional work, too. In July, news broke that Wyatt and Kurt will be starring together in a new “Godzilla” series for Apple TV+. Hawn also appeared with her husband in Netflix’s “The Christmas Chronicles” series, where he stars Santa and she plays Mrs. Claus.
Meanwhile, Kate is also getting back into the acting game. In 2021, she appeared in “Music” and “Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon,” which were her first major roles since 2017. This fall, she stars in “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
