It’s been a long time coming, but “The Bachelors Australia” is finally here and soon, we’ll be tuning in to watch Bachelors Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli embark on their journeys to find true love.

This season of “The Bachelors Australia” was filmed back in May 2022, but Network Ten pushed it back in a bid to give new shows like “Hunted Australia“, “The Traitors“, “The Real Love Boat” and “The Challenge Australia” a proper chance to find an audience, with… mixed results.

This year, it’s time for us to return to what’s tried and true in “The Bachelors Australia” but this time, it’s with a twist. Aside from the fact that there are three bachelors this year, the show shifted production from Sydney, moved to the Gold Coast, and left all the candles and fairy lights behind.

One of the Bachelors looking for love this year is 27-year-old Felix Von Hofe, a six foot four former pro basketballer turned sports commentator and marketing manager.

Felix isn’t about that dating app life, and prefers getting to know people face to face, so when he was offered the opportunity to become one of the Bachelors, he jumped at the opportunity — but will it be a slam dunk for love?

Felix Von Hofe’s Career

Felix Von Hofe played basketball for Australia, which saw him travel the globe, playing games in Spain, Africa, China, Germany, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates and the USA.

He was reaching all his professional goals, but soon realised that basketball wasn’t fulfilling him. So, he turned in his jersey and pivoted to a new passion: talking about sports as a professional commentator, and becoming a marketing manager along the way. As someone who’s outgoing and social by nature, talking about sports for a living is something he’s naturally inclined toward and very passionate about.
