Farmer Wants a Wife Couple Announce Shock Split: “A Relief”

Just when fans thought love had found its way, the Farmer Wants a Wife journey has taken an unexpected turn. Sarah Cranley shocked fans when she announced that she and Farmer Tom have called it quits.

Sarah shared the news on Instagram, and the revelation left many reeling in disbelief — especially after the heartfelt reunion episode had aired just days ago.

In her candid post, Sarah reflected on the whirlwind experience that was FWAW Season 14. She confessed that participating in the dating show had been a surprising journey for both herself and those closest to her.

“My decision to go on a dating show came as a big surprise to a lot of my family and friends, and was a significant commitment of time away from my normal life,” she wrote. “It was pretty scary putting myself out there like that.”

However, despite the initial excitement and hopefulness, Sarah revealed that the fairy-tale ending she had envisioned with Farmer Tom did not materialise.

“Unfortunately, that lifelong love that I was seeking with Tom did not turn out the way that I had hoped it would, but it’s definitely a relief now to put that truth out there that Tom and I are no longer together,” she continued.

“Relationships don’t always work and people are not always who you think they are.”

“Life Goes On”

Reflecting on her journey, Sarah acknowledged the ups and downs, many of which were not shown on television.

“I have learnt a lot in the last few months, and my confidence in myself has grown enormously,” she shared, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity and the people she met along the way.

“Life goes on and I will forever be a hopeless romantic. I can’t wait to try again for the partner and lasting love that I know I deserve. Who knows what the world has in store for me next,” Sarah concluded, alongside a series of behind-the-scenes photos from her time on the show.

Farmer Tom has yet to address the break-up publicly.

During the commitment ceremony on the show, Tom had expressed deep feelings for Sarah.

“It has been an honour having you around the farm,” he said. “I’ve absolutely loved every moment of it.” Sarah reciprocated, saying she was excited about their future together and declaring her love for him.

At the time, the reunion episode had gave fans hope, as the couple confirmed they were still together at that time, with Sarah balancing her time between Perth and the farm. Farmer Tom shared his happiness, stating, “I’m pretty happy.”
