Emma Stone has been one of our favorite actors since she burst on the scene in movies like “Superbad,” “Zombieland,” and “Easy A.” But did you know the “Poor Things” star is also a mom? She and husband Dave McCary welcomed their first child in 2021, not long after their quiet wedding in September 2020. The pair, who first met in 2016 when she hosted “Saturday Night Live,” have always been pretty private about their personal lives and their daughter, Louise Jean.
Stone, 35, opened up about her thoughts on building a family in a 2018 interview with her friend Jennifer Lawrence for Elle. “My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,” Stone explained. “I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.” She added, “It’s the turning-30 thing where you’re like, I’m not that young. I’m young, but I’m not that young.”
She said that turning 30 “crystallizes your life. Instead of just living the dreams that I had in my youth and getting to do the job that I love to do and making friends and going through all of that, it’s like, now what do I actively want as an adult?”
Here’s what we know about Stone’s daughter ahead.

Louise Jean McCary
Stone and McCary’s daughter, Louise, was born on March 13, 2021. The little one’s full name carries a ton of meaning for Stone’s family. She seems to be named after Stone’s grandma Jean Louise Morgan. Jean is also Stone’s middle name. Besides that info, Stone and McCary have been very quiet about their daughter’s life, and neither of them posts publicly on social media.
