David Harbour and Lily Allen have a beautiful bond. The couple, who wed last year in a sweet Las Vegas ceremony, keep their relationship pretty low-key, but the Black Widow actor recently opened up to People about the impact their love has had on his life.
“I’m so grateful that I’m not alone anymore, and that I have someone that I can tell everything to and who can tell me everything,” he said. David and Lily have been together since at least 2019, when they were first spotted at a Knicks game together. Two years later, they’re making the most of marriage. “We can share this experience of walking through life together,” he continued. “I’m always so overcome with gratitude for that because I’ve been alone for most of my life.”
David is also a stepdad to Lily’s two daughters, 9-year-old Ethel and 8-year-old Marnie, from her first marriage. Part of the couple’s love story is raising the girls together, and for David, that also means making them cringe sometimes. “We all recently went to a Gay Pride event at the Brooklyn Museum, and I decided to heavily embarrass my stepdaughters with some horrible dancing,” he shared. “I was the only one on the dance floor!”
