Chrissy Teigen is ready to take a road trip to Montecito, CA! On Sunday, the 35-year-old cookbook author and mother of two attended Global Citizen’s Vax Live concert taping in Los Angeles, where she briefly discussed her blossoming friendship with Meghan Markle. Meghan and Prince Harry served as co-chairs of the charity event, with the Duke of Sussex giving an inspiring speech encouraging people to come together amid the pandemic. Meghan, who is currently pregnant with her second child, was not in attendance.
“I feel like our world has just gotten so small, through this whole pandemic and everything,” Chrissy told Entertainment Tonight. “We have to go to Montecito and chill in the chicken house. Archie’s Cluckin’ Hut? . . . They’re so wonderful for co-chairing this. This is obviously such an incredibly important event that I’m so happy to be a part of.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last month, Chrissy revealed that Meghan personally reached out to her after Chrissy experienced pregnancy loss in September 2020. “She’s been so kind to me ever since we connected,” Chrissy explained. “She had written me about baby Jack and loss, but, yeah, she is really wonderful and so kind, just as kind as everyone says she is.” This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship if you ask us.
