Chelsea and Jamus May Be the Complete Opposite, But Together, They Hope to Win The Amazing Race

Chelsea and Jamus are a match made in heaven… or hell? Describing their relationship as “I’m the spice and he’s the sweetener!”, Chelsea and Jamus will need to work together in a big way.

The couple are not afraid to admit that they have their differences. Jamus is a laid-back teddy bear who approaches problems with an easy-going attitude, and Chelsea is extremely type A, who likes to get things done.

Chelsea and Jamus’ strengths and weaknesses make up one whole team. But whatever happens along the way, they’re doing this for their family, so the pair will be keeping their eyes on the prize.

According to Chelsea, one of the reasons why she joined The Amazing Race is because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that not everyone gets to experience.

Chelsea thinks it’s an amazing way to travel. She exclaimed that only a few people could claim to have travelled as a result of competing in The Amazing Race Australia. Another reason is the need to challenge herself by putting herself in situations that Chelsea knows she most likely wouldn’t experience If they hadn’t entered The Amazing Race.

One thing Chelsea wants to accomplish in The Amazing Race is to return home more relaxed! She wants to “be able to unwind in circumstances where I wouldn’t typically.” According to Chelsea, instead of feeling the need to always be in charge, she wants to let Jamus take control of the situation.

Jamus on the other hand, describes himself as funny, not serious, a joker, emotional and brave. Jamus is all about the jokes. He’s a joker, he’s funny and he knows it. He doesn’t take anything too seriously, and he knows how to make people laugh.

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have emotions — he’s actually very emotional, but he uses his humour as a way to channel those emotions in a healthy way. Jamus is also brave — he’ll never back down from a challenge!

Jamus hates snakes, and that’s one thing he needs to overcome, but he has one big advantage: he can run long distances.

The Amazing Race is all about teamwork. Together, Chelsea and Jamus could take on anything — but whether their differences will help or hinder their experience in The Amazing Race, is yet to be seen.
