With his daughter, Tilly, taking part in the show this year as a contestant, Gordon Ramsay has a lot of expectations to meet when setting the elimination challenge for Celebrity MasterChef Australia.
It’s the first elimination of the season and on Sunday, celebs are going to seriously feel the heat as they’re put to the ultimate test. This isn’t Gordon’s first rodeo, appearing on MasterChef Australia countless times before this moment. The British chef has also been the judge on the US version of MasterChef since 2010, so it’s safe to say, he knows exactly what he’s doing. Known for his potty mouth and inexplicable rage, Gordon is one of the most recognisable chefs in the world.
The multi-Michelin starred chef has opened restaurants around the globe, including the UK, France, Singapore and the US.
Besides being the face of multiple hit TV shows including Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen and Hotel Hell, Gordon has really cemented himself as a TikToker, posting hilarious videos of himself reacting to everyday people cooking some questionable meals.
Boasting an enormous 12.9 million followers on Instagram, the self-made man has been trained by some of the most prolific chefs in the industry, such as Albert Roux, Marco Pierre White and Guy Savoy.
He was 31 when he began his empire, and it wasn’t long before his namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, was awarded three Michelin stars.
From there it was history. Ramsay shares five children with his wife Cayetana “Tana” Hutcheson: Megan Jane Ramsay, twins Jack Scott Ramsay and Holly Anna Ramsay, Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay, who is currently competing on Celebrity MasterChef Australia, and Oscar Ramsay.
On Sunday, October 17, the contestants will be required to push through an elimination challenge set by the man himself, where he will join virtually to really pile on the pressure.
