Boxing Day just isn’t complete without a new season of Bump dropping on Stan.
Picture this: Christmas is over, the presents are open, you’ve hit the shops for Boxing Day sales, and now, you’re home, excited to see Oly (Nathalie Morris) and Santi (Carlos Sasnon Jr) on your screen once again.
The upcoming season of the hit show picks up four years after season two, and follows Oly and Santi’s journey as they navigate co-parenting, new relationships, Jacinda (Ava Cannon) starting school and a separation.
Returning to the series is the Chalmers-Davis family, who are each facing their own unexpected obstacles.
Joining them will be Vince (Ioane Sa’ula), Reema (Safia Arain), Rosa (Paula Garcia), and Bernadita (Claudia de Giusti).
Season one of Bump was a huge success, quickly becoming Stan’s biggest-ever premiere. Season 2 followed suit and managed to win the hearts of viewers all around the world.
Now with the third season at our doorstep, viewers will see just how much life has changed for the Chalmers-Davis family.
In an emotional new trailer, fans were given a glimpse of what to expect and, let’s just say, be prepared to bust out the tissues.
Oly’s mum, Angie Davis, played by Logie-Award-winning actress Claudia Karvan, reveals her battle with cancer — and we’re pretty sure that’s just one of the many shocking developments this season.
Screen Australia Head of Content Sally Caplan said: “Not only has Bump proven enormously popular with viewers on Stan with its relatable characters and entertaining scripts, it also continues to provide great opportunities for emerging creatives to further their careers. We’re very proud to continue to support the talented team at Roadshow Rough Diamond to bring Seasons 2 and 3 to life together, and I look forward to seeing what’s in store for Oly, Santi and their families.”
Season 3 of Bump will be available to watch exclusively on Stan this Boxing Day. In the meantime, watch the trailer below.
