Australia’s favourite family is returning on Boxing Day and we cannot wait. Season two of the Stan original series Bump will premiere the day after Christmas, and the streaming service have already unveiled the highly anticipated trailer.
The Chalmers-Davis and Hernandez families are a special brand of chaos, so it’s only fitting that hilarity will ensue. Teen parents Oly (Nathalie Morris) and Santi (Carlos Sanson Jr) continue to get to know each other in the upcoming instalment, as they juggle school, work, parenting and raising baby J.
As their fellow peers navigate life as a teenager, the young parents realise just how lonely raising a child can be. Santi, who had fatherhood sprung onto him unexpectedly, begins to feel the pressure and the entire experience brings back memories of losing his mum. The young man is forced to confront the impact it’s still having on him and his dad, Matias (Ricardo Scheihing Vasquez).
But the complications don’t stop there. As Oly’s parents, Angie (Claudia Karvan) and Dom (Angus Sampson) deal with their separation while Matias and Rosa (Paula Garcia) try to get back on track.
The four of them are trying to navigate the relationships they are now in, and it all definitely sounds complicated.
If the trailer is anything to go by, the latest season will have the same amount of heart and laughs as the first and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
Bump rapidly rose to the top when season one was released, becoming Stan’s biggest ever premiere. It also went on to break the all-time viewing record for a new series on the platform.
The show has already confirmed its third season.
Season 2 of Bump will premiere on Stan this Boxing Day.
