Bryce and Melissa Are Sharing a ‘Warts and All’ Look At Their Relationship After MAFS Ended
It’s been literally five minutes since Married at First Sight Season 8 ended. Not even five minutes. Maybe just two…and already, Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are teasing something “exciting”.
One of the only remaining couples from the season, we’d be lying if we said we were surprised they went the distance, but alas, here we are and they have an announcement.
Posting on their respective Instagram stories on Tuesday, April 27, the pair shared a lovely staged photo with the caption: “Exciting Announcement coming 6 pm AEST TONIGHT!”
Unfortunately for the reality couple, industry website Radio Today has pipped them to the post and prematurely revealed their big news — they’ve landed a podcast deal with Jay Walkerden’s Podshape.
The podcast will be titled What Happens After and is a “warts and all look at the development of a relationship”, most notably their relationship because apparently, we need an entire podcast for that.
In s new trailer for the series, Melissa says: “The bad things have definitely been the trolls and the lack of understanding around our relationship.”
They’ll also discuss topics such as if they’ll actually get married, their views on raising children and their family’s views on their life together. (Does this mean we get to meet Bryce’s mum again??)
“I’m looking forward to showing our relationship for what it actually is and giving insight into Bryce and myself,” Melissa added via a statement, while Bryce told the outlet: “We met in usual circumstances but we’re just like any normal couple, I’m excited to let people inside how lives and our relationship.”
What Happens After launches on Tuesday, May 4 and will have an initial run of 10 episodes.
