Congratulations are in order for Brittany Hockley and Ben Siegrist, who have just announced their engagement!
Brittany, who we know from The Bachelor and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, shared the happy news on Instagram.
“In any lifetime it’s a YES! Just two people loving each other for the rest of our lives,” she captioned the post.
The reality star posted some adorable beach selfies where both she and Ben were dressed in white, and she was all smiles showing off her gorgeous ring. Ben, 32, popped the question during their vacation to Hamilton Island. The photo carousel included sweet moments of them hugging after the proposal, getting off a helicopter, and having fun on a yacht.
Their friends quickly jumped in with congratulations.
Laura Byrne, Brittany’s co-host on the Life Uncut podcast wrote, “I’M LEAKING!!!! Could not be happier for this. You deserve it all.”
Meanwhile, Khanh Ong, who competed alongside Brittany on I’m A Celeb, added, “OMG omg omg stop it. I’m so happy for you. OMG.”
KIIS radio presenter Mitch Churi added, “STOP IT MY BFF IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so is @brittany_hockley !!!”
Brittany and Ben First Started Dating In 2023
Brittany first gained fame in 2018 on Nick Cummins’s season of The Bachelor, where he famously chose no one. She announced her relationship with Ben, a Swiss goalkeeper, in January 2023, sharing their first photo together during a European holiday, despite their long-distance relationship. They met in November 2022 on the celebrity dating app Raya, while Ben’s team, Celtic FC, was playing in Australia.
Brittany captioned a video of them, “From Paris, with love,” adding, “Think I may have found me a keeper #hardestlaunch.”
The couple has been navigating a long-distance relationship since Ben plays as a goalkeeper for Celtic Football Club in Glasgow, Scotland. It hasn’t been easy for them, with Brittany sharing earlier this year that the travel expenses have been piling up.
“It’s expensive but unavoidable if we want to see each other. You just have to prioritise it,” she said. “We share the cost, and it’s only a few times a year. If we were travelling every month, I’d have to sell a kidney or something.”
It seems the effort was worth it, as this Bachelorette has finally found her happily ever after.
