Just about all of the award shows for 2021 have been pushed back to accommodate for the COVID-19 pandemic, which has put a damper on the entertainment industry as a whole. Along with moving the ceremonies, the various organizations behind each award show have adjusted the eligibility requirements to accommodate for delayed movie and TV premiere dates and modified schedules. Recently, the Grammys were postponed due to the spread of COVID-19 in the Los Angeles area, where the show was set to film, and now, the SAG Awards have been pushed back to avoid conflicting with the new Grammys date. Golden Globe Awards: Feb. 28
The Golden Globes have been pushed to Feb. 28, 2021 and are scheduled to be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. It will air on NBC.
Critics' Choice Awards: March 7
The Critics’ Choice Awards were pushed back to March 7, 2021, but are still scheduled to happen live from Santa Monica, CA. The show will be hosted by Taye Diggs and air on The CW.
Grammy Awards: March 14
The Grammys were originally slated for Jan. 31, 2021, but have since been moved to March 14, 2021 and will be broadcast on CBS.
Writers Guild of America Awards: March 21
The Writers Guild of America will air on March 21, 2021.
Producers Guild of America Awards: March 24
The Producers Guild of America adjusted the eligibility requirements for the upcoming award show to align with COVID-19 restrictions placed on the industry, and the ceremony will air on March 24, 2021.
Screen Actors Guild Awards: April 4
The Screen Actors Guild Awards have been moved back to April 4, 2021, to avoid conflicting with the Grammys. The show is slated to air on TNT.
