Season 6 of Australian Survivor just wrapped up, with Hayley Leake being crowned the sole survivor. Now, planning for season 7 is already underway, and the rumour mill is rife with speculation.
It’s believed the next instalment of the series will be derived from the US format, Blood vs Water.
Channel 10 didn’t waste any time in previewing the next season, airing the sneak peek straight after the finale.
Season 7 of Australian Survivor is reportedly set to air from February 2022, and if the teaser is anything to go by, the reality show will be pitting new and returning castaways against their family and friends.
It’s as chaotic as it sounds and will test the contestant’s loyalty like never before.
We’re pretty sure some relationships will be broken, which TBH sounds pretty sadistic.
While not much has been confirmed, host Jonathan LaPaglia did say the next season will be filmed in Australia, most likely near Far North Queensland.
After several leaks and the Townsville Bulletin reporting the Big Bend and Echo Hole were booked out for TV production, it’s claimed the show is being filmed in Charters Towers.
Apparently, the people in Townsville spotted posters asking for people in their 20s and 30s who were “physically fit, enthusiastic and available from September 11 to November 6” to come forward for the show.
It’s safe to say, the production team hasn’t exactly done a great job at keeping things a secret.
