Everything You Need to Know About Australian Survivor’s George, the Political Puppet Master

Australian Survivor George

In the latest teaser for Australian Survivor: Brains Vs Brawn, we’re introduced to George, one of the first revealed Brain tribemates.

“I’m on the Brains tribe because I’m the smartest operator there is,” George says in the trailer.

A political operative, is expecting his skills to come in handy when faced with the challenges Australian Survivor has in store for the players.

“You’ve gotta be willing to pull people’s strings,” he says. “As a faceless man in the Labor Party, that’s what I’ll be doing on Survivor.

“I’ll let the audience decide whether I’m a hero, or the villain,” he finishes. Honestly, sounds like something a villain would say, but perhaps it’s a little to early to judge.

Of course, string-pulling and strategy will only get our tribe mates so far, as they battle the climate and conditions of the new season.

Filmed in Cloncurry, Queensland, after COVID restrictions shifted production back to Australia from Fiji, this season is set to be dramatically different from seasons past.

Gone are the crystal clear waters and beautiful palm trees, this season promises “scorching days” and “freezing nights”, according to host Jonathan LaPaglia, adding that the players “will have to survive in one of the most dangerous locations on the planet”.

He’ll be going up against Brawn tribemates Gavin Wanganeen, Flick Palmateer and prison guard Dani.

May the odds be ever in your favour, George!
