Ariana Madix Attends White House Correspondents’ Dinner With Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent

Did President Joe Biden just pick a side in the Scandoval? OK, so the president didn’t actually weigh in on the ongoing “Vanderpump Rules” breakup drama, but Ariana Madix, Lisa Vanderpump, and Lala Kent were in attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

On April 29, the trio were looking fabulous as they walked the red carpet at the event. Madix, who is going through a split from longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval, wore a strapless white gown with lots of detailing along with a sheer cape. Vanderpump opted for a simple black gown with a dramatic sparkly, gold cloak, and Kent wore a strapless blue dress with a floral pattern. All three women were guests of DailyMail.com.

Madix’s highly publicized breakup has been making headlines due to Sandoval having an affair with their “Vanderpump Rules” costar Raquel Leviss. Since her split, the 37-year-old reality star has made it clear she’s ready to move forward. In addition to releasing a line of post-breakup merchandise, she’s also reportedly in talks to star in the next season of “Dancing With the Stars,” per Entertainment Tonight.

Still, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner may have served up the most surreal Scandoval moment to date when host Roy Wood Jr. referenced the cheating drama in his speech. “Scandals have been devouring careers this year,” he said. “The untouchable Tucker Carlson is out of a job . . . but to Tucker’s staff, I want you to know that I know what you’re feeling. I work at ‘The Daily Show,’ so I too have been blindsided by the sudden departure of the host of a fake news program. Tucker got caught up. Got caught up like that dude from ‘Vanderpump Rules.'”

Wood Jr. continued, “I don’t know what ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is about, I’ve watched it a couple of times. My friends told me it’s like ‘BMF’ but for white people. Or is that ‘Succession’? No, ‘Succession’ is ‘Power’ for white people. No, Tucker Carlson is ‘Power’ for white people. No, that’s white power – you know what, never mind.”
