All the Theories and Spoilers of AJLT Season 2 So Far

The latest **spoiler alert!** for season two of “And Just Like That”, is thatv pop icon Sam Smith will be making an appearance.

In a joint post with the official Instagram page of AJLT and Sam Smith, the singer posted a photo of them popping out of their trailer on set, with the caption “Up to something unholy on set”.

And, while it seems a little unnecessary to plug their Grammy-winning single in this context, it’s got us to thinking…

Will they be making a guest appearance on the show as themselves, or someone else?

In Sex and the City we’ve seen both play out. While Spice Girl and solo artist Geri Halliwell didn’t play herself, actor Matthew McConaughey. Anything is possible in this rogue reboot world!

Ok this is adorable. Aidan’s stance literally reminds me of my 6.4 ft teenage boyfriend bending down to kiss me while we were hanging out in the local shopping mall. And Carrie’s face looks like how I felt!

Her outfit is great too. It’s like when you start dating someone new and you go rogue with your looks because you feel a bit wild and careless. Like, someone loves you, so you can do whatever you want. Including wearing bejewelled boots and vintage purple track pants with a sequinned overcoat.

I can’t help but ship this Carrie + Aidan 3.0 and I’m not afraid to say it.

If we weren’t sure about Aidan and Carrie actually rekindling their romance in season two of “And Just Like That…”  — we are now.

In these recent pap shots, we see the duo look undeniably loved-up.

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually excited to see how this third (and hopefully final) try at this relationship pans out.

But it does make me question — where to from here?

If Michael Patrick King is gunning for a third season, it seems a strange move to pair Carrie and Aidan back up. Because surely, they can’t break up a fourth time!?!!

it truly feels as though there might be hope for Carrie and Aidan. Third time’s a charm?

While some famous fans showed excitement, like Gwyneth Paltrow commenting “NO WAAYYY” and Andy Cohen writing “I’m freaking”, others had a less positive response.

“I guess we don’t need to watch the show now,” commented Australian comedian Celeste Barber, and Vogue sex writer Karly Sciortino writing, “This shit is so staged”.

And, while it might be staged to create some buzz before season two premieres, it does feel hard to believe that SJP, the official @justlikethatmax Instagram and the official fashion ‘gram @andjustlikethatcostumes would all post these pics of Aidan and Carrie if it wasn’t legit. Right? Right!?!?

As to how we feel about it — we have mixed emotions. On the one hand, we’re living for Carrie in her Bennifer era. Sometimes, you might meet the wrong person at the right time. More than once.

But on the other hand, we’re still recovering from them breaking off their proposal in season four of “Sex and the City”. Was there relationship ever truly real, or were they just both dealing with their insecurities through each other?

But then, being the romantics that we are, maybe there’s a reason for the all exhausting back and forth between Carrie and Aidan. They kept running into each other at different points of life and giving it a shot, but it never quite worked. And maybe, that’s because it hasn’t been the right time, until now. Maybe, they were always meant to be.

We’re open to it. With that beautiful photo of them embracing and kissing on a bustling street of NYC at night, the city lights twinkling in the background, how could we not be?!

Many fans online have been wary of the big spoiler.

“Why would they do such big spoiler?” Instagram user @pelayodiaz commented on the first official photo of Aidan and Carrie in the upcoming season of “And Just Like That”.

“Unless is not a spoiler because this is a dreaming scene or something that would never make it to the cut,” he continued.

It does seem like a big spoiler to give away, which is a little confusing. Like, what’s the angle?

But perhaps the internet is being a little cynical and they had no choice but to “spoil”, given that rumours of Aidan’s return began last month. The “Sex and the City” fans never take a break and we love them for it.

Whether they end up together or not, we do love to see Aidan and Carrie together again.
