If we had to give the beauty looks of the 2023 Oscars red carpet a theme, it would be: classic, clean and (almost) presidential. Last year we saw bold and punchy red lipsticks on Lady Gaga, Rihanna and even, Sandra Oh. In the world of hair, the main contender was slick up-dos — some with strands of face framing waves. However, some celebs donned loose, lived-in curls.
Although the guest list for the A-list event is unconfirmed, we’re hoping for the attendance of red carpet royalty, Zendaya, fresh from the glamour of the “Dune: Part Two” press tour. Her presence at last year’s Academy Awards was sorely missed especially after she mentioned doing her own makeup for the Oscars carpet and afterparty in 2022.
