Behold: Millie Bobby Brown’s “Supermodel” Nails

Millie Bobby Brown stepped out at the opening ceremony for Osaka Comic Con 2023 in Japan on May 5 fully dressed for the occasion. Wearing a red embellished shorts and jacket set with her hair slicked back in a low bun, Bobby Brown looked ultra trendy. Her minimal “supermodel” nails only added to that effect.

The “supermodel” trend was coined by celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik back in 2021 at the Oscars. It’s inspired by the barely-there color of the manicures that ’90s models wore – hence the name. Bobby Brown opted to wear the color on medium-length, oval-shaped tips with a glossy top coat; sans any nail art or designs. Given how bold her outfit is, it’s understandable that she went with such an understated nail look. It also allowed all eyes to fall on the two diamond rings she was wearing.

This manicure is not dissimilar to Bobby Brown’s other recent sets. Despite being bold with her hair choices (throwback to her days with a buzz cut), she typically keeps things simple when it comes to her nails. When her boyfriend of three years, Jacob Bongiovi, proposed back in April, Bobby Brown’s engagement nails featured the “glazed-doughnut” trend – a glossier version of what she’s wearing at Osaka Comic Con.
