Emma Chamberlain’s Collection of Tiny Tattoos Is Very Her
If you’re wondering whether Emma Chamberlain has tattoos, know this: she went from having only a handful of designs to 10 in a single day. So the answer is yes. Back in March 2022, the bubbly vlogger added eight small tattoos to her arms. The mix of designs included a paintbrush, a pyramid, a lighthouse painting, a vintage car, a rabbit plush toy, a postage stamp of a pine tree and horseshoe, the number 11, and a surreal illustration of a little girl holding a head. She debuted new ink to the public at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on March 27, 2022, where she wore a black Louis Vuitton halter dress.
All done by tattoo artist Dima, these additions join the squirrel and paintbrush tattoos Chamberlain had previously gotten in November 2021. “8 tattoos in a row is the most i’ve ever done on one person in one sitting,” Dima wrote on Instagram. “You’re quite something,” the tattoo artist told Chamberlain, who commented, “hehehe.”
Chamberlain previously spoke about her desire to get tattoos in an October 2020 video shared on her YouTube account. “Every once in a while, I get this crazy feeling in my body that tells me to get a tattoo,” she said. “The thing about tattoos that’s always scared me is the fact that the chance of me regretting it in six months is very high.” To help explore the possibility, Chamberlain applied several temporary tattoos to her arms and upper body. She concluded, “This has made me want to get a tattoo more.”
After finally getting inked, Chamberlain reflected on how her perception of tattoos has changed in a March 31, 2022, episode of her podcast, “Anything Goes With Emma Chamberlain.” Though she had once felt she would eventually grow tired of her tattoos, Chamberlain had a change of heart and somewhat “spontaneously” booked the appointment for her first two tattoos, the squirrel and paintbrush in honor of her parents. “These will never get old to me,” Chamberlain said. “They’re not super trendy. They’re just very simple tattoos that are dedicated to my parents.”
On deciding to then get eight additional tattoos in a day, Chamberlain said she thought, “Why don’t I just get all of the ideas I’ve ever had at once? Why not?” She added, “All of them are meaningful, truly . . . I do really like them because they represent stamps of my childhood and impactful moments throughout my life, mainly in regards to my parents.”

Emma Chamberlain's Squirrel Tattoo
Chamberlain kicked off her tattoo collection in November 2021 with a squirrel and paintbrush. The squirrel design is located on her inner arm, near her armpit.
Emma Chamberlain's Tree Stamp Tattoo
When Chamberlain got eight tattoos in one sitting, she got this postage-stamp tattoo with a tree on it on her inner arm, just above her elbow.
Emma Chamberlain's Doll Holding a Head Tattoo
Located on the same arm as her squirrel and tree stamp tattoos is a tiny design of a doll holding a head. She’s never spoken about the meaning of the design.
Emma Chamberlain's Plush Bunny Tattoo
On Chamberlain’s forearm is a fine-line tattoo of a toy plush bunny. The design has zero shading or color, sticking with the minimalist theme of her other ink.
