Ciara loves to play with different hairstyles, but her latest look for Paris Fashion Week may just be our favorite. After wearing her hair in an extra-long style for quite some time, she traded it for a fresh bob haircut. The star has been busy attending a variety of runway shows this March while in France, but her bob has been a constant.
Ciara’s go-to hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez created the look, which is a cross between a micro bob and a “box” bob. The style hits just above her chin with blunt ends that form a slightly square-shaped silhouette. “It’s chic it’s romantic it’s the micro-bob on @ciara,” reads Ramirez’s caption on Instagram showing off the hairstyle, which featured flipped-in ends for the Elie Saab show on March 7. According to his post, Ramirez used a wig from The Wild Form to create the short cut and Unite Hair products to style it.
Proving just how versatile the bob is, Ciara has worn this new style in a variety of different ways for fashion week-related events. She wore a sleek, straight version under a beanie for a cool street-style vibe; she slicked it back to embrace the wet-hair trend; she added a tousled wave for a slightly messier take; and she swapped the part from middle to side.
This isn’t the first time Ciara has worn a bob and it certainly won’t be the last. (After all, there’s a reason the haircut is considered a classic.) See Ciara’s bob haircut at Paris Fashion Week below.
