But one look at the news or even social media lately will remind you that the last two months have been anything but normal. With the recent shutdown across most of the country due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) came the temporary closures of many hair salons across the US, leaving Black women to rely on themselves for their everyday hair needs.
