6 Beauty-Editor-Approved Product Launches in February

The month of romance has arrived. And love it or loathe it, it’s a time that always graces us with some wonderful beauty launches. February might be a shorter month but there’s no shortage of beauty newness to keep us occupied.

Leave it to Jo Malone to create the scent of the season with the newest Roses collection, which celebrates (you guessed it) all things rose with a selection of colognes, a candle, and a diffuser. Next up, Oskia created a balm that has been sent straight from heaven to cure our compromised skin barriers. And speaking of skin barriers, there’s a new brand on the block helping us all get our skin in tip top healthy shape. Byoma is here to treat over-exfoliated skin with sumptuous ceramide-infused formulas that help balance and restore the skin barrier.

But that’s not all, there is plenty more launches that I’ve been loving this month. Keep reading to see which new launches made my beauty editor-approved selection in February.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm

The Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm (launching 14 Feb.) is my MVP this month. This multi-use balm is packed with colloidal oats, ceramides, allantoin, amino acis, vitamin e, and a huge list of other ingredients that help repair dry, damaged skin instantly. Since it’s multi-use, it can be used all over the face and body. I particularly love to warm some up in my fingers and press into dry areas of my face, as well as coat my cuticles, elbows, and knees. The balm has a wonderful medicinal scent that feels incredibly soothing during these dark evenings.

Maison Margelia Replica When The Rain Stops

Maison Margelia has done it again with the newest launch When The Rain Stops because it literally smells exactly like that but in the most sophisticated way. Don’t ask me how, it’s just pure Replica genius. Described by the brand as “the warm smells of damp wood and fresh flowers wet with rain give us their most beautiful facets,”. When The Rain Stops aims to celebrate the elements of nature: earth, water, and wind. “It is an optimistic fragrance: there is always good weather after the rain.” It really is a great, everyday feel good fragrance.

Malin + Goetz Salicylic Gel Cleanser

Although my skin isn’t acne-prone, I’m definitely still prone to the odd breakout or two. Recently, I’ve been reaching for the new Malin + Goetz Salicylic Gel every time a pesky spot decides to make an appearance. The formula contains spot-busting 2 percent salicylic acid, lactic acid, and niacinamide with skin calming centella asiatica and glycerin to banish breakouts whilst keeping skin from drying out. My favourite part about this gel is that it works both day and night and works well under makeup, too.

Jo Malone Rose Blush Cologne

Roses are red, violets are blue, we’ve become utterly obsessed with the Jo Malone Rose Blush Cologne and so will you. Bursting with notes of roses (of course) as well as basil, lychee, and white musk to give it an elevated and sophisticated feel.

Christophe Robin Purifying Mask With Thermal Mud

I used to think “there’s nothing quite like freshly washed hair”, but I now think “there’s nothing quite like Christophe Robin Purifying Mask With Thermal Mud freshly washed hair” because seriously, this stuff makes my hair feel cleaner than it ever has done before. It’s a weekly pre-wash treatment that aims to gently remove build-up on the scalp. Unlike the original Cleansing Purifying Scrub, this treatment is more purifying than exfoliating. My roots are left feeling super soft and build-up-free.
