Hit That Big Red Button — Apply for “The Voice” This Year
Are you a singer? Have you been watching this year’s season of “Australian Idol” with regret in your heart? Do you wish that you had auditioned for the show? Do you have secret hopes of becoming a 2024 icon?
Well, you may have missed your chance to star on “Australian Idol”, but that doesn’t mean your dreams are through. Enter: the return of “The Voice Australia”, which is accepting auditions right now.
“The Voice” is a reality TV series where each contestant is primarily judged on the quality of their singing abilities. When a contestant first sings on this show, they are placed in front of a panel of judges that aren’t facing towards the stage. If a judge is impressed with the singing abilities of a contestant, they can press a red button that swivels their chair to face them. By hitting this button, not only is a judge saying that they like a contestant’s voice, they are saying that they’d like to help said contestant make their singing dreams a reality.
