David Beckham Shares Adorable Throwback Photo on Victoria’s 49th Birthday

Fresh from Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s first wedding anniversary excitement, the family have another cause for celebration: Victoria Beckham‘s birthday. The fashion designer turned 49 on 17 April and, naturally, her friends and family have been quick to post their well wishes on social media, including her husband, David, who rarely misses an opportunity to post a little PDA on Instagram.

The former footballer took to the platform to post an adorable throwback snap of the couple in black and white to commemorate her special day while writing a caption honouring her inspirational role in the family. This latest old-school photo comes after his Mother’s Day post and Valentine’s Day post, so it seems David is in the reminiscing mood of late!

The Beckham family are known for showing up in support of each other, both in their personal gym couple workouts, and in their careers, as proven when the family (minus Romeo who had football commitments) arrived at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in March. Despite rumours having circulated that Victoria and daughter-in-law Nicola, were in the midst of a feud after she didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham wedding dress last year, the family looked all smiles at the fashion show so we are expecting more sweet messages to come today.

In addition to loving family posts, Victoria’s fellow Spice Girls sent their own messages on social media, with fun clips of old music videos to have us all feeling nostalgic. Members of the girlband had previously reunited at Geri Horner’s 50th birthday, so we can’t wait to see if they’ll do the same for Victoria’s big 5-0 next year.
