MAFS 2023: Shannon Wants Someone Who Accepts Him as is
Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of “Married at First Sight” put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicks off on Monday, January 30, at 7.30pm on Channel 9, and promises to begin with the biggest shock ever to rock a wedding. We’re also teased some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.
For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.
At first glance, Shannon might seem like your average carefree bachelor but deep down he’s a sensitive soul in search of love.
With a three-year-old daughter he loves dearly, Shannon was in an on-again-off-again relationship with his ex-partner for many years. Although they share custody, he has ended things with his ex and is ready to move on with someone he can build a future with.
The 30-year-old can be hot-headed at times and his no-nonsense attitude can often land him in trouble. But having spent the last year on self-development and reflection, he believes he is now the best version of himself, ready to settle down again with someone who accepts him just as he is.
